What is Galeria

Galeria is a cultural and multidisciplinary space that emerges through the union of the port and the city of Maputo. From music, theater, photography, fine arts to gastronomy, the Gallery is a map to live unique moments and experiences in an environment with the fragrance of the sea and the welcome of the Port of Maputo.

Since its inauguration in late 2019, Galeria has been gracing us, Mozambican citizens,  Maputo expats, and tourists alike with a variety of top, top performances.

Do you love being embalmed in African traditional rhythms and the epic dance moves? Then Galeria is the place for you! Are you perhaps a more humor inclined person? That’s alright because Galeria has the fine stand-up comedy shows and theater sessions that will make you laugh, cry, have fun and rejoice the best moments of your life with your friends and family.

But if none of the above is your thing and you say hey! What about me? I am into Art? Chill out! Galeria hosts the finest art exhibitions from the finest artists. Young, old, up-and-coming to the most acclaimed ones.
