NKATIKULONI (Theater) | Centro Cultural Brasil-Moçambique

The play is a reflection on the condition of being a wife and being the other wife of the same husband, in a globalized society in which the values, habits and customs associated with the culture of African peoples are seen at the crossroads of recognition or legitimacy from the point of view. view of Western concepts.
Nkatikuloni is a Changanan expression – Bantu language from southern Mozambique, it refers to the women of the same husband. Not to be confused with the western term “rival” the Nkatikulonis are women of the same husband.

A peça é uma reflexão em torno da condição de ser esposa e ser a outra esposa do mesmo marido, numa sociedade globalizada em que os valores, hábitos e costumes associados a cultura dos povos africanos vêem se na encruzilhada de um reconhecimento ou legitimidade sob ponto de vista dos conceitos ocidentais.
Nkatikuloni é uma expressão changana – língua bantu do sul de Moçambique, trata-‐se das mulheres do mesmo marido. Não se confundido com o termo ocidental “rival” as Nkatikulonis são mulheres do mesmo marido.
